Reputation
I suppose this show is “underrated,” though only slightly. Reddit threads like this one and this one rave on and on about this show.
It deserves its reputation. The Eleven is particularly awesome, and Jerry’s guitar tone is really something to behold.
Discussion
I’m sorry to say that the only thing I have to discuss here is whether this is the complete show or not.
Nobody knows. There are no other sources of this show out there, after all. There’s nothing to compare to.
The listing in Deadbase for this album comes from Dick’s Picks Volume 22. It seems that tape archivist David Lemieux wasn’t entirely sure which tape actually went with which show, as he is quoted here:
I suppose that means that there’s no more to be found. However, what we have is simply amazing. You have to listen to it.
