I listened to Pure Jerry Volume 7, which is an excellent soundboard. Actually, though, after looking around, I wonder if SHNID 151226 might not be an even better recording.

Reputation
As is the case with most officially released shows, this one has a pretty strong reputation in general. However, AllMusic indicates that there may be better shows from this tour:

Hornsby sounds absolutely fantastic in this show, and the soundboard sounds absolutely wonderful.
My big question here is how many times Hornsby played with the JGB. I haven’t been able to find an answer, though it’s clear that Hornsby played in at least 100 Grateful Dead shows.
He sounds simply wonderful in this one. Listen to it if you haven’t.
